The round begins in front of a promontory surmounted by a white tower. The fairways of the first two holes can well afford to be broad and generous, for their greens are stoutly defended by dense shrubbery. And on number three you must be careful of the dunes, the flowers and the water! Number five, a superb par 5 on the side of a hill, is crossed by a stream. Revised by Cabell B. Robinson, it terminates on an undulating green. The ninth brings a return to tradition among the agaves and the mimosas. And as for the tenth, for the moment that has to be played in the club house, but not for long since the course is shortly to be extended to a full 18 holes.
