The Tangier Royale Golf Club
The first in a long tradition, the Tangier Royal Golf Club symbolises the Moroccan passion for the game.

then bringing it up to date while preserving the natural, spontaneous character which its architects, Cotton and Pennink, had been aiming for. Beneath a roof of green tiles, the newly-built and delightfully hospitable club house veranda gives onto a large garden and fountain overlooking the putting green and the practice area.
The 1 8 holes weave their way through cypress, pine and eucalyptus trees, crossing the mountain, sloping down and climbing again... The fifth, a par 4, demands particular attention and a great deal of dexterity with its unexpected hill closed in between pine trees and a tiny, sloping green... but the reward comes when you reach the top; the roofs of white Tangier gleaming in the sunlight as far as the eye can see.
